You have to visit Dover Castle where over 2000 years of history has accumulated above and within the White Cliffs. During World War II in the Cliffs operation Dynamo was co-ordinated. Even during the Cold War these underground passageways held their secrets, but most of the underground tunnels can be visited nowadays via interesting guided tours.
