Saturday 23 September 2023, ‘white’ route, starting at parking Pompsterplaat in the Kollumer Waard/Kolummeroord (5km, province Friesland) near the Lauwersmeer. One of the many great hiking-routes in the Lauwersmeer area taking you through open fields, forest (Zomerhuis Bos) and a viewing plateau looking over Blikgaatplat. Again can obviously be muddy, but relatively easy going and the hike takes you through some woodlands as well in case you need some shelter from the wind and rain..
