Monday 12 May 2025, short hike next to the river Lek on two premises maintained by Utrechts Landschap. Interesting area, lots of wildlife (birds), the only downside is the never ending traffic noise; originating from the adjacent A2 highway. The lake area can be quite crowded when the weather is nice; so plan your visit with care and flexibility.
