Thursday 3 November 2011. route 96 ‘Wandelboek’, 9 km, “Paardengat” and “Reeweg”routes; South of Roermond (Limburg). Started at the parking of the (closed) old railway track north east of the visitor’s centre “De Meinweg” which was closed (off season) as well… Too bad, looked great from the outside…Despite some light rain, nice hike, varied terrain; forest, moors, fields and water… Geologically interesting as there runs a clearly recognizable fault through the landscape.
