Thursday, 27 August 2026, Heidestein, Zeist, Province Utrecht, 7 km. Revisited, to check-out the flowering heather as well as the impact of a very dry summer and lack of maintenance activities by the sheep. Unfortunately they had to be replaced by machines and human labour. Our trail is a mix of 2 routes on the estates Heidestein and Bornia maintained by Utrechts Landschap.
