July 18, 2006, Route 46,Stulp- en Kasteeltuinwandeling, 5 km, Easy walk through a varied landscape near Lage Vuursche. It gets you very close to a castle of the Dutch Royal Family ‘Drakesteyn’. Forest, moor, sand-dunes and small pools. We actually saw a snake hunting in there! We hiked this train on a very hot ‘working’ day (34 C), not too many people around. During the weekends this area is very touristic and crowded.
