City walk in a small town with a lot of history… going back to Roman times and more recent defensive efforts using water as a defense keeping invaders out… interesting route but feel free to deviate a bit here and there or you might miss interesting objects and nice views… All going is on hard surface so footwear not very critical; a good place to start the route an park your car (P+R) is next to the railway-station. makes use of the many signposts of other hikes passing this interesting town.
