Saturday 5 September 2009, route 6, Appélbergen, 5km, near Groningen. Short, interesting, varied, not too well marked,. muddy for after rains and starting point difficult to find. Yet, defenetily worth your visit if you’re in the neighborhood of Groningen city. Old peat area and as nature is allowed to follow its course (with a little help) now developing into a beautiful swamped area again.
