Revisited the English Garden on the grounds of Groeneveld Castle. We’ve hiked here before on 25th November 2007 and this time we were on a (volunteer) mission to validate the quality of new signposts for hikers and walkers (‘knooppunten‘). The English Garden trail is approximately 5 to 6 km, very easy going and well maintained… As in 2007; great views but a lot of dog-owners and their pets and expected to be very busy during holidays and weekends. The castle is accessible; information center and restaurant. Check the website before visiting; there are regularly events which might jeopardize your stroll on this estate.
