In this area, Batauweg/Galecopperlaan in Nieuwegein, a small forest was removed. Due to pipelines in the ground, planting new trees is not allowed so the municipality has decided to give nature a chance to develop by itself and to see where this leads to… I will regularly try to provide a new aerial view to track developments…
